Sri Lanka won the series 2-0.

Sri Lanka scored 482 runs in the first innings, and Pakistan 262 runs in the first match in Dubai, and Sri Lanka lost all wickets for 96 runs in the second innings.

Pakistan lost their wickets for 248 in the fifth day of the second Test in reply to 317 for the victory target.

This was the first time that Pakistan failed to compete in the tournament in the United Arab Emirates.
