Resolution to monitor all the buses through GPS technology

The Sri Lanka Transport Board has decided to monitor all the buses through GPS technology.

So far, 2000 buses have been equipped with technical equipment, said Sri Lanka Transport Board Operations Division Superintend. Bee. Chandrasiri said.

He added that all buses will be compatible with GPS technologies within the next January.

RP Chandrasiri pointed out that the main activities, including monitoring of bus transportation, and reducing it would be undertaken.

He also pointed out that the aim is to provide quality transport services to passengers.

At the same time, the Sri Lanka Transport Board has noted that the focus is on the use of the postpaid card.
