The Ministry of Health has focused on the use of new chemicals for dengue eradication.
Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Deputy Director General of Public Health, stated that the dengue hoses could be prevented from obtaining the miscarriages needed to grow mosquitoes through chemical substances.
Accordingly, he has proposed to use a chemical substance in oil.
Dr. Sarath Amunugama said that this chemotherapy will spread in the water area and prevent oxycline from getting into the water.
He said that the chemicals were registered in Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, the focus on dengue eradication in Sri Lanka has been initiated in Sri Lanka to conduct research in Monash University, Australia.
